The U.S. could lose the opportunity to benefit from liquefied natural gas exports if it implements policies or orders further studies that would delay such projects, said Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska. "The window for the United States to join the global gas trade will not be open indefinitely. In fact, it is narrowing, and there is a real possibility that the nation will miss out on a historic opportunity," according to a report from Murkowski's office.
