Oklahoma-based restaurant chain Sonic hopes to get local sports fans talking with a campaign that will see college football teams' logos stamped onto the buns of its hamburgers. The steamed logos are made of tapioca starch and add as much as 10 cents to the burger price because of licensing fees. "We're a gathering spot in many smaller communities. This will generate a lot of buzz," said Sonic Chief Marketing Officer James O'Reilly.
