Peach growers in Palisade, Colo., say two hard frosts in April decimated their peach crops and left only 20% to 40% of their usual yield. The region grows about 85% of the state's peaches, so supplies have been spotty at Denver-area supermarkets and farmers markets. Still, farmers are working together to make sure everyone has fruit so Front Range residents won't have to the trek across the Continental Divide in search of their annual fix.
