DeepField, a Big Data startup led by Craig Labovitz, is offering Cloud Genome, a software-as-a-service or a virtual appliance that it says can provide insights into the use of data, especially as it is delivered in the cloud. "Ten years ago the problem was getting data from servers and network infrastructure. Today, the challenge is how to leverage massive streams of network and cloud performance data to make intelligent business decisions," Labovitz says.
