Architectural firm Amarada, based in Romania, has created a vertical-nature-based conceptual skyscraper for Miami. The 1,099-foot-high tower would incorporate an aquarium;
tropical vegetation atop the aquarium; a space that produces artificial rain clouds; an observation deck; and wings made from artificial feathers that vibrate in the wind to generate electricity. Also, "oxygen created by plants would pass freely through the gap between the feathers, turning the building into a giant oxygen tank for the City," writes Beth Buczynski.
