Vevo is hoping to leave its YouTube roots -- and ad-revenue sharing -- behind with the development of on-demand videos and a 24-hour programming schedule for Apple TV and Samsung's TV sets. Vevo, a joint venture from Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music Group, will have an app on Apple TV as soon as this week, and will be on Samsung sets within the next few weeks, according to this report.
