Brands should seize opportunities to thank fans who make positive comments about them on social networks, Andy Sernovitz writes. That often means moving quickly; for example, PF Chang's sent out a complimentary dessert to someone who was tweeting while at one of its restaurants. "Social media gives you the opportunity to show your fans you appreciate their feedback. You just have to be vigilant," Sernovitz writes.
