A sudden indication of possible U.S. military action against Syria tamped down shares across Asia on Tuesday. The Nikkei fell 0.69% to 13,542.37, the Hang Seng was off 0.59% to 21,874.77, the Kospi eased 0.11% to 1,885.84 and the S&P/ASX added 0.11% to 5,141.20.
