Nearly half of high-school graduates who enroll in college do not go on to complete a degree program, according to a recent study. To help reverse this trend, officials with Spokane Public Schools in Washington state are introducing a new plan -- T-2-4 -- to help ensure high-school graduates earn either a technical, two-year or four-year degree. "We shouldn't just focus on high school graduation," Superintendent Shelley Redinger said, adding, "We owe it to our students to have a different goal."
