Economic woes in the Netherlands aren't hurting the skin-care sector. According to Canadean, skin care has a 3% compound annual growth rate and is in third place out of the top health and beauty sectors from 2012 to 2017. Volume is forecast to rise to 3.4%. The sector has stayed strong as Dutch women cut down on spa visits and relied on manufacturers to maintain their skin-care routines, the research shows.
