You shouldn't feel that your interviewer expects follow-up questions after an initial interview if he or she says something like "feel free to e-mail me," Alison Green writes. It's fine if you do have a burning question. "But no one -- no one -- who says this means, 'Good candidates will have questions before their interview, so I expect to receive yours soon,' " Green writes.
