Most business leaders could learn a thing or two from the mindfulness practices of Eastern religions, writes clinical psychologist Cheryl Rezek. Mindfulness really just means paying attention to what's going on around you, and thinking clearly about what you perceive, Rezek explains. "When there is less clutter and fewer distractions within one's own head it is easier to gain clarity and perspective," she writes.
