Yahoo's 197 million unique visitors topped all other U.S. Internet companies in July, topping Google, Microsoft and Facebook, per comScore. It's the first time since March 2011 the struggling giant has topped that chart and a positive sign for CEO Marissa Mayer, who's been with the company a year now. Yahoo's numbers "can only bolster Yahoo's brand among marketers who have been wondering if the platform was diminishing in scale," Christopher Heine writes.
