Boomlagoon is retooling its hit Noble Nutlings to become part of Line's game lineup. It's the first game from a Western studio for the Japanese messaging application, Hamish McKenzie writes. The studio, which has two members that helped in Rovio's success with Angry Birds, changed the game to look more like an arcade game and went from free-to-play to a monetizing model that exploits social media competition. "We think all the changes we made makes the game much much better," Boomlagoon CEO Antti Stén says.
