Facebook is working overtime to lure celebrities away from Twitter and encourage them to use their Facebook pages to reach out to fans. Facebook's effort to recalibrate its relationship with celebrities mirrors its understanding that photos would become a key part of its users' online lives, says Justin Osofsky, the social network's director of platform partnerships. "We similarly see an opportunity here around public moments," he says "We needed to be investing more on the product front."
