Nearly 65% of women in the workplace are designated as worriers, hampering their career, according to a report by CDR Assessment Group. Men, on the other hand, often are dubbed egotists, rule breakers and upstagers, which can be positive for career success. Worrying can cause others to perceive a person as weak and can damage career credibility, while stifling creativity and adding stress.
Sony forecast that it will sell 5 million PlayStation 4 consoles through the end of its fiscal year in March. "Our first priority is to satisfy our core users, but the possibilities of the PS4 will not end there," said Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House. Sony also confirmed that the PS4's camera will support gesture and voice control. Unencrypted HDMI output for games will be available on the PS4, the company added.
Apple's iTunes Radio music service went live on Wednesday as the company offered iOS 7 and version 11.1 of iTunes for downloading. The ad-supported, free service is similar to Pandora Media's music-streaming offering. Subscribers to iTunes Match will be able to hear iTunes Radio without advertising.
Inline XBRL, a version of eXtensible Business Reporting Language, is thought to make the data-formatting system easier and more popular to use. The Securities and Exchange Commission sees potential in iXBRL and is considering implementing it.
