Washington, D.C., restaurants are teaming up to create one-of-a-kind dishes, such as custards made with locally baked cakes and banh mi sandwiches served on the corner store's doughnuts.
"It’s a no-brainer to offer our customers something they can’t get anywhere else," said MJ Gimbar of the Black Restaurant Group. "And working with other businesses in the area builds more of a community."
