Pile-driving work scheduled for the Coon Rapids Dam in Minnesota has been delayed by high river flows since May and unanticipated debris upstream. Construction of the Anoka County side of the dam, which includes construction of a new concrete apron, has also been delayed by about a month. The project has a two-year timetable, and will also involve removal of the existing rubber dam to be replaced with nine steel gates.
