When asked how much they expect to make after graduating from college, undergraduate women tend to offer lower salary numbers than their male peers. However, it's not clear to what extent their lower expectations contribute to the gender pay gap or merely reflect the current state of the working world. Still, it's evident that "employers, universities and candidates themselves must continue to insist on equality in compensation," according to Jonas Barck of Universum.
