The waiting lists for Louis Vuitton's $4,600 Capucine bags at shops in London, Paris and Milan may signal a bigger turnaround trend for the luxury brand, which has been working to reposition itself as more exclusive. "Louis Vuitton had to work on its exclusivity perception and creating products for which there is high demand and not enough volume to satisfy everyone, certainly helps," said analyst Luca Solca.
