The specialists in charge of protecting U.S. government networks from cyberattacks are overwhelmed by current data loads, according to a report, which found that less than a quarter of federal cybersecurity professionals say their data security efforts are adequate to prevent a breach. According to the survey of 203 cybersecurity professionals conducted by MeriTalk, roughly half of respondents say Federal Information Security Management Act guidelines have made security stronger, but less than a third say their agencies are in total compliance with the standards.
