The Department of Labor's proposed uniform fiduciary rule for all financial advisers who work on retirement plans will not be released in October, as previously planned, said Phyllis Borzi, the Labor Department's assistant secretary for the Employee Benefit Security Administration. "You're not going to see anything in October because we're not finished," she said. "We're trying very hard to make sure we've crossed all the T's and dotted all the I's."
