A National Cancer Institute study of about 500,000 Americans over age 50 found that those who ate the healthiest diets were 15% less likely to develop pancreatic cancer compared with people who ate the least-healthy foods. The research also linked eating higher amounts of dark-green and orange vegetables, legumes, whole grains and low-fat milk to a lower risk for pancreatic cancer.
