Students in one Iowa district are learning age-appropriate lessons in how to prevent and respond to bullying. Hand puppets and role-playing games are being used with students at Spalding Park Elementary School in Sioux City, Iowa, while high-school students are using the Mentors & Violence Prevention program to learn how to treat others with respect. Jim Vanderloo, Sioux City's director of secondary education, said conversations about bullying differ by students' ages and their ability to understand concepts.
