The emergence of cloud computing has not only transformed the way enterprises implement and manage their IT operations, it's changed the nature of the people charged with carrying them out. Experts say the skills needed to thrive in a cloud-based world are starkly different than those of legacy administrators, whose role was largely supportive, and now require a more front-facing approach that some observers say will mean the end of IT as we know it.
