Teachers in North Carolina typically receive students' standardized test scores just a few weeks after they are administered. This school year, teachers statewide say they are still waiting for the results of exams aligned with the Common Core State Standards that were administered in May. Teachers, who are not expected to receive the scores until November, say the delay is not holding them back because they continually assess their students' skills "formally and informally" throughout the year.
