Microsoft's decision to spend $7.2 billion on Nokia's core mobile business could create a headache for CEO Steve Ballmer's successor, experts say. Microsoft already suffers from sector sprawl, complicating the search for the right CEO or strategy. "It makes it harder to manage, which is a challenge for Microsoft no matter who the successor is," says David Yoffie of Harvard Business School.
