Almost 70 million U.S. households will have Internet-connected televisions by 2017, as the number of online video users in the U.S. increases from 175 million this year to 191 million, according to Parks Associates. “The TV is still the most-popular and most-used platform for video viewing – over 40 per cent of TV owners watch more than 10 hours of video per week on the device,” Parks analyst Heather Way said.
