Chef Sang Yoon of Lukshon restaurant in Culver City, Calif., spent years perfecting his recipe for dandan noodles, a Chinese comfort food with a fiery kick. Yoon's version uses sesame seeds, peanuts and chicken broth as a base, then amps up the heat with a Sichuan sauce of dried chiles, garlic, peppercorns and black vinegar.
