More than one in five U.S. children don't have access to the food they need, according to Feeding America, a problem restaurants are increasingly working together to combat. September has been dubbed Hunger Action Month, and thousands of eateries around the country are running promotions to support Share Our Strength and its "Dine Out for No Kid Hungry" fundraising campaign, and chains including Shake Shack and Fazoli's have created other fundraisers for the cause throughout the year.
