Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Canada's biggest drugmaker, said it will buy eye-care specialist Bausch & Lomb in a deal valued at $8.7 billion. Bausch & Lomb's owner, private equity firm Warburg Pincus, will get $4.5 billion. Bausch & Lomb's existing debt will be paid off with the remaining $4.2 billion.
