A survey of 380 benefits managers by software provider Bswift found 85% of large employers and 81% of smaller firms have wellness programs, but participation rates exceed 50% for only 44% of them. Financial incentives to encourage participation were used by 64% of companies in the survey, up from 59% last year, and 77% of large employers said their wellness program included biometric testing.
