Restaurants' use of social media as a marketing tool jumped from 77% last year to 89% this year, according to a survey from Hospitality Technology. Among restaurants that use social media, Facebook was the most popular network with 94% of respondents saying they use it, followed by 77% for Twitter and 53% who use Yelp. Pinterest grew sharply in popularity, from 17% last year to 28% this year.
