Cover letters should not be self-serving, desperate or include irrelevant information, according to CareerBliss editor Luke Roney. In this blog post, he advises job seekers to clearly outline how they can help an employer, and include relevant examples of experience and accomplishments. "Generally, limit your cover letter to three to five concise paragraphs, and maybe throw in some bullet points to further break up the text," Roney advises.
