An application developed by Kevin Wilson, a software engineer at the Vanderbilt Institute of Imaging Science, has nabbed the top prize in a global health app challenge conducted by Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Wilson's app can convert the clinical summaries of patients into comprehensible personalized health data. The app will be piloted by a small group of patients before it is refined and integrated in the My Health at Vanderbilt patient portal.
