Survey data reveal nearly three-quarters of a companies' Twitter followers are likely to conduct business with that company in the future. In addition, the survey, which was commissioned by Twitter, suggests almost a third of a business' followers will recommend the brand to others. "The big takeaway here is this: You probably aren't wasting your time on Twitter. Your tweets ... have the power to engender brand loyalty and repeat business among your followers," Joe Lewis writes.
