Spain-based Abengoa Solar has built a solar photovoltaic plant in Phoenix -- and appears to have made strides in storing some of the energy it produces. The Solana photovoltaic plant can generate power six hours after the sun sets through the use of 3,200 parabolic trough mirrors to track sunlight, and molten salts to store heat, writes Korky Koroluk.
