ASTA's Charitable Matching Program for its ASTAPAC political action committee has been expanded, allowing donors of at least $1,000 to direct funds equivalent to half of their contribution to a chosen charity. ASTA has also increased its financial contribution to the U.S. Travel Insurance Association's lobbying efforts to implement a uniform licensing standard for travel agents selling travel insurance. "The Charitable Matching Program will help strengthen ASTA's advocacy work while allowing members to give back to their local communities.
