AT&T will expand its data offerings to include a $5 day pass for tablet owners as well as a three-month, 1 gigabyte prepaid plan, AT&T Senior Vice President Chris Penrose disclosed at an industry event on Thursday terming them temporary, "casual rate plans." AT&T also picked up a contract from Tesla Motors to provide the electric-car maker with wireless broadband service. In a separate deal, AT&T scored a contract to install 1,100 hot spots at Sun Life Stadium, home to pro football's Miami Dolphins.
