AT&T picked up 265,000 U-verse video subscribers in the third quarter, the service's second-best showing ever. U-verse revenues were up by 28% from a year ago as the broadband division added 655,000 subscribers to reach 9.7 million. U-verse TV now has 5.3 million customers. Corporately, AT&T's revenues rose by 2.2% year-over-year and net profit outpaced analysts' estimates. The telecom gained almost 1 million new wireless customers as wireless revenues grew by 5.1% on a 17.5% increase in mobile data sales.
