Bombardier recently opened a new facility in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to produce carbon-fiber composite wings for its CSeries aircraft. The building received LEED Gold-level certification for its building material selection, use of natural light and water and energy efficiency. "The prestigious LEED certification of our new Belfast facility also demonstrates that not only are we on the right track with our innovative and environmentally conscious products, we are also delivering on our commitments as a responsible corporate citizen," said Bombardier President and CEO Pierre Beaudoin.
