Brazilian brothers Rodrigo and Michael Terpins will pay nearly $5 million to settle an allegation that they conducted insider trading before a $23 billion buyout of H.J. Heinz in February, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission. The brothers allegedly purchased Heinz stock options based on nonpublic information that a deal was imminent, resulting in $1.8 million in profit.
