The City Council of Camarillo, Calif., approved a liquor license last week for the city's new Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market in a 3-2 vote to allow the retailer to sell beer, wine and hard liquor. The store, which will open in early 2014, first applied for its license in June, but was denied by the council because the request did not also include an application for a required conditional use permit.
