Mickey Mouse is still a top pitchman when it comes to children, and he's one of the many cartoon characters that are increasingly appearing on snack packages of fruits and vegetables in an effort to appeal to young snackers. Sales of Disney character-led healthy snacks have increased 200% over the past year. Today's parents want snacks that are "as close to the whole fruit or vegetable as possible," said Phil Lempert, a food-industry analyst.
