Doctors at the Cleveland Clinic have been working with IBM engineers to make the company's Watson supercomputer technology more useful in the clinic. Staff at the Lerner College of Medicine, a collaboration between the Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University, are testing ways to tap the supercomputer's storehouse of knowledge to make WatsonPaths more useful in education. The college has also been conducting a pilot study with the Watson EMR Assistant, which assists health care providers in analyzing EMRs.
