Assessing the impact of recent flooding to oil and natural gas operations in Colorado may take weeks, observers say. Flooding prompted the shutdown of about 1,300 wells and led to multiple oil spills, state regulators said. "We still have areas that are inaccessible for repairs, and so it'll be at least another week before we can start putting together estimates of either damage or recovery times," said Tisha Schuller, president and CEO of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association.
