A growing number of companies are embracing corporate social responsibility in their supply chains to manage their risk and reputations, asserts The CSR Group President Paula Ivey at a conference in New York this week. Companies also are becoming more aware of the bottom-line benefits of making their supply chains more socially responsible. "Corporate social responsibility is driving consumers, who are driving retailers, who are driving the brands. CSR is going mainstream. Uptake is happening rapidly," Ivey said.
