Michael Huerta, head of the Federal Aviation Administration, told Ed Bolen of the National Business Aviation Association that FAA business is preventing him from attending the NBAA convention in Las Vegas, writes Flying magazine Editor-in-Chief Robert Goyer. Other FAA leadership also is absent from the convention, he writes. Huerta should have attended because FAA leadership needs to hear the aviation industry's message, which is "[s]top the nonsense and let's get back to work," Goyer writes.
