The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority has approved plans for the $1.1 billion expansion of Orlando International Airport. Work on the project, which will consist of building a people mover system, a new train depot, a parking garage and more, is set to start next year and scheduled for completion in 2017. Plans also include construction of a second terminal, which is expected to cost $1 billion.
