The Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation recently offered flights to six veterans who live at the Taylor Glen retirement community in Concord, N.C., on a World War II Boeing Stearman biplane. "Our goal is to give dream flights to veterans with a focus on World War II vets, because they're a dwindling breed," said executive director Paul Bodenhamer. The group says it hopes to exceed 240 dream flights this year.
